About Lotus Wind

The Lotus Wind Choir is a Melbourne-based chamber choir founded in 2019 by multi-award winning opera singer Shu-Cheen Yu.

Under the leadership of Ms Yu, the choir trains with traditional and art song, and focuses on vocal technique, musicianship and choral part singing. With well blended sound and a wide range of repertoire, the Lotus Wind Choir is regularly invited to perform in mainstream charity events and community activities.

Through their singing, the choir members love to celebrate and embrace multiculturalism and diversity in all forms. Every member of the choir is very proud to contribute to the musical life of the broader community, and to the country overall.
