About Lotus Wind

The Lotus Wind Choir is a highly-regarded Melbourne-based choir performing traditional folk and art song in English, Mandarin and other languages. With a well-blended sound and a wide repertoire, Lotus Wind performs with joy at many prominent charity events and participates in a wide variety of community activities.

Through their singing, the Lotus Wind members love to celebrate multiculturalism. Every member of the choir is very proud to contribute through music to our beautiful country and to its broader communities.

Rehearsals take place on Sunday afternoons from 2-5pm at the East Prahran Seventh-day Adventist Church, 8 Wynnstay Road Prahran. Additional sessions are scheduled on occasion in preparation for upcoming concerts.

An audition is held as part of the membership application process. Previous professional music training is not required, however an open-minded attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
